GRAND RE-OPENING

The Alpine Inn is proud to be a part of Rockford's Miracle Mile. On May 18th, we will celebrate our grand re-opening.

ROCKFORD (WREX) - The newly remodeled Alpine Inn will hold an official grand opening later this month.

The Alpine Inn upgraded all of its 114 rooms at 4404 E State Street. The inn has been around since 1958 and was purchased in 2007 by Rockford business leader, Tom Baudhuin and his wife and brother Cindy and Mike Baudhuin.

"It was imperative to the growth of the Miracle Mile Rockford neighborhood to have an owner/operator willing to invest in the property and prepare the business for strong corporate partnerships, our neighborhood families, and tourists visiting the Rockford area. Our family is proud of the improvements we have made. With the assistance of the East State Street/Alpine Road TIF (Tax Increment Financing District) we have jointly invested over $500,000 in this property. Our new General Manager, Kathryn Larson is ensuring that we provide excellent customer service to all guests that choose to stay at the Alpine Inn," said Tom Baudhuin.

The public is invited to celebrate the upgrades at a grand opening press conference on Tuesday, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. An open house will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. that night.
